Teen charged with attempted murder in Rugby

A Rugby boy has been charged with attempted murder and possession of a firearm with intent to endanger life following an alleged shooting.

The 16-year-old boy, who cannot be named for legal reasons, will appear at Coventry Magistrates’ Court today (Wednesday 3 March).

A man in his 20s suffered minor facial injuries in the incident.

The incident he has been charged in connection with happened in Grosvenor Road, Rugby on Saturday.

A 17-year-old boy from Rugby arrested on suspicion of attempted murder and possession of a firearm with intent to endanger life has been bailed until the end of the month while enquiries continue.
