Josie Wheel's Twitter post went viral this week, calling for replacements of a Vtech Light Up Learning Bug.
It's her sister's - Sophie - favourite toy, who has profound learning disabilities.
She's had around 15 since she was 2, and has been described as a "loved toy" by Sophie's family.
In a Facebook post, Ms Wheel says Sophie "doesn't go anywhere without it" but due to their age "they are they just aren't holding up as long. More than 800 people have since shared her appeal on the social media site.
Now people across the world are offering replacements and fixes.
Josie told us so far 15 have been offered, but more people are still coming forward.
The Vtech Light Up Learning Bug had stopped being sold by the company nearly a decade ago.
We spoke to Josie, who told us she's "overwhelmed by the response. I've had so many messages, people just want to help and people don't realise how many are trying to help. It's literally insane!"
