Seven people charged with Leamington murder

The charges relate to an incident on Lower Leam Street on 28 May 2020.

Seven people have been charged with murder in connection with the death of 34-year-old Carl Moorhouse in Leamington last year.

They are:

  • Tau Randall, aged 34 of St. Peters Road, Birmingham (also previously charged with conspiracy to commit GBH in connection with the investigation)
  • Darnelle Sappleton, aged 22 of Farm Street, Birmingham (also previously charged with conspiracy to commit GBH in connection with the investigation)
  • Callum Huburn, aged 29 of Park Road, Birmingham (also previously charged with conspiracy to commit GBH in connection with the investigation)
  • Reuben Nall, aged 27 of Rookery Road, Birmingham (also previously charged with conspiracy to commit GBH in connection with the investigation)
  • Javantry Scott, aged 23 of Osborne Road, Birmingham (also previously charged with conspiracy to commit GBH in connection with the investigation)
  • Jamani Cunningham, 25 of Copthall Road, Birmingham (now also charged with conspiracy to commit GBH)
  • Emma Bennett, aged 34 years of Wycken Court in Coventry, (now also charged with conspiracy to commit GBH)

They all appeared at Coventry Crown Court today (Monday 12 April) and will next appear on 28 May 2021.

Two other men - Terry Nall, aged 30 of Regents Road, Birmingham, and Adam Padley aged 26 of Mellis Grove, Birmingham – were previously also charged in March with murder and conspiracy to commit GBH in connection with the investigation.
