RAF Cosford air show back for another year
It's the country's last air show that still runs.
RAF Cosford's Air Show is taking to skies again today as the show returns for another year.
People attending will be able to watch pilots perform aerial tricks and fly overs, in a demonstration of modern military techniques and aircraft..
As well, the event is commemorating some special anniversaries in their performances.
They will be focusing on the 800th Dambuster Air Raid in World War Two and the 75th Berlin Air Lift.
Squadron Leader Chris Wilson at RAF Cosford said: "The air show calendar across the UK has shrunk and we find it really important to keep going.
"We want to keep flying the flag for aviation and bring all the enthusiasts along.
"It's at least ten months out of the year that some of us work on preparing the air show.
"It takes a lot planning to put it all together."
The RAF Cosford air show is sold out and starts Sunday 11 June.
