Police are appealing for witnesses after shots were fired at a vehicle in Station Road, Stechford at around 11.40pm on Saturday night (4 March).

It is also understood that shots were fired around 40 minutes later in Caldwell Road after a group of men got out of a car.

Officers attended both scenes and no one has reported any injuries to us.

Police say violence involving firearms is unacceptable and that they are working hard to establish who was responsible.

The scenes have been forensically examined and CCTV from the areas is being retrieved and reviewed as enquiries continue.

Neighbourhood teams are carrying out patrols to offer reassurance to people in the area and investigators ask anyone who has any information or dashcam footage to get in touch.
