Police are appealing for information after a man was stabbed in his car in Walsall last week (Wednesday 11 May).

A 19-year-old man was sat in his car at 6.30pm on Upper Lichfield Street, Willenhall, when a silver Golf pulled up next to him.

Four men got out of the Golf and started attacking his car, before one of the men lunged through the driver’s open window, stabbing him multiple times to the hand and wrist.

They also smashed his windscreen and scratched the passenger door before leaving in the Golf.

The teenager was taken to hospital to be treated for serious injuries to his hands.
