Officers from the force say a warrant was carried out at the property, where over 100 plants were seized.

Inside the property, they found what they are calling an 'extensive cannabis farm, with several rooms devoted to growing the drug.'

A total of 115 plants were seized in total and a 17-year-old male has been taken into custody from the address.

West Midlands Police say they are continuing to take action against cannabis farms in Coventry and further afield.

On their website, they say their Gangs Unit regularly carry out warrants of this type and have seized hundreds of thousands of pounds worth of cannabis and other drugs since the start of 2023.
