Nuneaton Borough have been taken over by DA Capital, the club have announced.

It comes following issues of the pitch, including an eviction notice from their Liberty Way ground.

In a statement on their website, the club say Jimmy Ginnelly will remain as first team manager - and will hope to build on the 'brilliant' run the team are currently on.

Speaking to the club, Jimmy said:

"My time as a custodian of Nuneaton Borough has come to an end. Because of the last months developments, I feel that it is now time for someone else to take over the club.

"I want to thank everyone who has helped me over the years, all my sponsors, friends and especially my family for all the long hours of commitment we have put in, to build the club back up to the highlights of last seasons Play Off Final.

Now I can focus fully on the football, which is what I have always wanted to do and leave the business of the club in good hands."

On their website, Nuneaton Borough say further details will be announced in due course.
