Nuneaton Borough will play their upcoming FA Trophy fixture at the home of Coventry City.

Announced today, the game against AFC Fylde will be played at the CBS Arena on 9 December - free of charge.

It's as the club - members of the Southern League Premier Division Central - face issues off the pitch, which includes accessing their Liberty Way stadium.

Jimmy Ginnelly, manager of Nuneaton Borough, said: "We can't thank Doug King, Dave Boddy and the team at the Coventry Building Society Arena enough for their unbelievable gesture."

Doug King, Owner and Executive Chairman at Coventry City, said: “We are pleased to be able to help our friends at Nuneaton Borough in these difficult times for them."

“As a Club we are only too aware of the situation that they find themselves in and when they approached us, we were very keen to play our part and help arrange for the game against Fylde to take place at our home ground."

Supporters will be housed in the West Stand at the Arena, with admission via turnstiles 44/45.
