CCTV released after Nuneaton assault leaves man with broken nose and fractured eye socket

Warwickshire Police say the two males may be able to help with their investigation

Police are looking to speak to two males seen in CCTV, who might have information about a serious assault in Nuneaton on Friday 5 November.

A man in his 40s was on Newdegate Street around 11.45pm when he is understood to have been approached by a group.

One of males in the group is then reported to have made a homophobic comment and a verbal altercation took place.

Shortly afterwards, the victim was assaulted causing him to suffer a broken nose and fractured eye socket. He was taken to hospital for further treatment.

Warwickshire Police are conducting enquiries but are keen for the individuals pictured to come forward as they think they may be able to help with their investigation.

Officers are also appealing for anyone who was in the area at the time or who witnessed the incident to get in touch.

The individuals pictured, anyone who knows who they are or anyone with information that can help should call 101 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111 quoting incident number 14 of 6 November.
