The new Coventry train station has opened to passengers.

The £82m works have transformed the station and the areas around it.

The new building has improved access to the platforms, new retail units and an entrance from Warwick Road.

There is also a new car park, artwork and new cycle storage.

The project was funded by £39.4 million from the West Midlands Combined Authority Devolution Deal and £27.5 million from the Government’s Local Growth Fund through the Coventry and Warwickshire Local Enterprise Partnership (CWLEP).

Funds from Coventry City Council have also been used to pay for the project.
