A family of a man who died from suicide last year have set up a new campaign to raise money for mental health.

"Lets Talk Brum" is selling t-shirts aimed to get people talking about their mental health, with all the money raised from the t-shirts going towards charity Birmingham MIND.

The campaign is in memory of Owen Long who tragically lost his battle with depression last year.

Owen himself did a lot of charity work for men's mental health, even raising money for Birmingham MIND.

His sister Carla tells us how important this campaign is: "It's important in his memory because it was something he was an avid believer of, but it also could save someone's life and you can't get more important and critical than that."

She would like to see more conversation around men's mental health: "Men have lots of pressures and expectations put on them to be strong, to be the breadwinner and to be financially independent which is something that Owen really struggled with."

And Kerrie Henry-Edge, the fundraising officer for Birmingham MIND, tells us: "With this campaign and these t-shirts, we are continuing with Owen's message.

"Even if you're wearing that t-shirt tonight at the bus stop for example, it might encourage someone to speak up and ask for help."

Different styles of the t-shirts are being released throughout the year on "Lets Talk Brum's" website.

You can buy the t-shirts here.
