Murder investigation launched after man shot in Oldbury

West Midlands Police has launched a murder investigation after a shooting in Tividale, Oldbury, in the early hours of this morning (Sunday 20 June).
Officers were called to Dudley Road East at just before 1.30am, where a man was found with serious gunshot wounds.
He was treated at the scene by paramedics before being taken to hospital but was later pronounced dead.
Police say their investigation is in the early stages and the area's been closed off, as forensic examinations are carried out.
