Man seriously injured in Sandwell road rage attack

Police are appealing for information after a man was left with serious injuries following a suspected road rage attack in Sandwell.

A Honda Civic and Ford Transit are believed to have crashed in Park Lane, Wednesbury, at around 1.15pm yesterday (8 August).

The driver of the Honda Civic was then confronted by a man from the Transit and punched several times.

The man, aged in his 50s, has been taken to hospital with serious facial injuries. He remains in a serious but stable condition in hospital.

Someone else from the Transit is then understood to have taken the victim's car keys and took his vehicle.

Police are carrying out enquiries to identify who was responsible and anyone with information is asked to contact them.
