Man dies after crashing motorbike in Birmingham

Police are appealing to anyone who saw what happened.

A man in his twenties has died after crashing his motorbike into a tree in Birmingham this morning.

It happened on Bristol Road in the Selly Oak area around 2am.

The man was moved to an ambulance where he received life support and trauma care, but he died at the scene.

West Midlands Police said: "Our thoughts are with the man's family and loved ones at this sad time.

"Anyone with any information that could help our investigation is urged to call us on 101, quoting log number 232 20/9/23."
