Man dies after car ends up on roof in Shrewsbury
It happened on Longden Road yesterday (10 Jan).
A man died after being involved in a road traffic collision in Shrewsbury.
It happened when the car he was driving came off the road and ended up on its roof. He had been travelling on Longden Road around 3:20pm yesterday (10 Jan).
West Midlands Ambulance Service said: “On arrival, crews found a car had come off the road and ended up on its roof.
“The driver, a man, was in a critical condition and ambulance staff immediately began administering advanced life support.
“Unfortunately, despite everyone’s best efforts, he could not be saved and was confirmed dead at the scene.
“There were no other patients.”
