Man, 20, fighting for life after being struck by car in Birmingham

West Midlands Police are appealing for the public's help after a man was seriously injured when he was hit by a car on a pedestrian crossing in Birmingham.
The 20-year-old remains in a critical condition in hospital after being struck by a silver Mercedes on Bristol Road, Selly Oak, at around 4.15pm yesterday (24 February).
Two other pedestrians - men aged 20 and 21 - were also hurt after being hit on the crossing near the Lodge Hill Road junction. It's believed their physical injuries are not too serious.
The driver remained at the scene and is helping the Serious Collision Investigation Unit with their enquiries. He has not been arrested.
A West Midlands Police spokesperson said: "We've already spoken to some witnesses but we need to hear from you if you were in the area at the time. If you saw what happened or the Mercedes prior to the collision, get in touch.
