Man charged with Walsall burglaries

A 38-year-old appeared in court yesterday.

Police have charged a man with burglary offences in the Walsall area.

Nicholas Edwards, 38, from Walsall, was charged with burglary of a dwelling, attempted burglary with intent to steal, and theft of a motor vehicle.

He was due to appear at Wolverhampton Magistrates Court yesterday (30 Oct) for a first hearing.

A 17-year-old boy was also arrested on suspicion of burglary, attempted burglary with intent to steal and theft of a motor vehicle. He has been placed on bail while our enquiries continue.
