Man charged with possession of imitation firearm after Wolverhampton disorder

It's after shots were fired on 30 October.

A man has been charged with possessing an imitation firearm after a disorder in Wolverhampton where shots were reported to have been fired.

Officers investigating the incident on Monday 30 October in Colley Avenue arrested a man on Tuesday (14 Nov).

Durice Jones, 19, has been charged with possessing an imitation firearm, affray, and possessing a blade.

He has been further charged with a number of other offences including criminal damage to a property and damage to a motor vehicle following incidents in Highfield Avenue on 30 October and 2 November.

Jones appeared at Wolverhampton Magistrates Court on Wednesday (15 Nov) and was remanded in custody to appear at Wolverhampton Crown Court on 12 December.
