A man's been charged with murdering a baby at an address in Coventry almost three years ago.

The boy, who was just three months old, was found by paramedics at a home in the Stoke area of the city, on the morning of 29 June 2018.

He'd suffered a catastrophic head injury and was pronounced dead in hospital two days later.

James Scott − who knew the child − was arrested at the time, but was released under investigation whilst enquiries were carried out.

Yesterday (23 April) Scott, from Coventry, was charged with murder.

He appeared at Coventry Magistrates Court, where he was remanded into prison ahead of his next appearance at Warwick Crown Court on 27 April.
