Man charged after motorcyclist stabbed and robbed in Rugby

He was due to appear in court today

A man's been charged in connection with an incident in Rugby where a man was stabbed and had his bike stolen.

Police were called to Bilton Road in the town on the evening of Saturday 14 May.

Daniel Spence, of Edward Street, Nuneaton has been charged with robbery, section 18 wounding, possession of a knife, possession of MDMA and possession of cannabis

The 32-year-old will appear at Coventry Magistrates’ Court today (Tuesday 17 May).

Officers are continuing to investigate the incident.

Anyone with information is being asked to call 101 quoting incident 360 of 14 May 2022.
