Man arrested in connection with Jewellery Quarter shooting

A man's been arrested in connection with a shooting that happened in the Jewellery Quarter of Birmingham earlier this month.

A man was injured after being shot in the leg on Frederick Street on 10 December.

West Midlands Police launched an investigation and yesterday (23 Dec) made an arrest at an address in the Soho area of Birmingham.

A 23-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of possession of a firearm with intent to endanger life and will be questioned in connection with the incident.

Police say their investigation isn't over and will continue to follow different lines of inquiry.
