Police have seized several machetes, zombie knives and a firearm during a raid in Birmingham, which later led to the discovery of a cannabis farm.

Officers raided an address in Erdington at 6am on Tuesday morning after they uncovered a photo of several teenagers posing with weapons.

Two large combat knives were discovered hidden under sofas and another was located in the garden.

Nun-chucks and an air rifle were seized from the same address.

Two men who fled the property were found at a nearby house along with a large cannabis grow or around 100 plants.

Two men aged 22 and 29 have now been charged with cannabis production and have been remanded in custody.
