Part of the M5 in Worcestershire was shut after a multi-vehicle crash.

It happened between Junction 5 for Droitwich and Junction 6 for Worcester.

Several vehicles - including at least one lorry - was involved and some of them had overturned.

It caused queues to back up but traffic officers have now released them from the rear of the carriageway.

Three out of four lanes have now reopened with one still shut to repair the barriers.

Highways teams are at the scene clearing the wreckage and securing the area.

There have been no reports of injuries.
