Investigation launched after shots fired at car in Wolverhampton

Police think it was a targeted attack

Police are investigating what they're calling a 'targeted attack' where shots were fired at a car in Wolverhampton.

It happened at around 11pm on Monday night and involved a black VW Golf, which was driving on Ashland Street.

Its not thought anyone was hurt.

Police are now looking for a group of men or boys seen riding bikes in the area at the time of the attack.

Detectives are also reviewing CCTV recorded in the area in an attempt to identify suspects.
