Images released after man attacked on train in Black Country

A man was kicked and punched on a train between Smethwick and Wolverhampton.

The British Transport Police have released images of four men they want to speak to in connection to an assault on a man.

It happened on a train between Smethwick Galton Bridge and Wolverhampton railway stations.

On Friday 8 December 2023 at around 10pm, the victim stumbled into a man who was standing in the vestibule.

A group then attacked the man in his thirties.

Officers are asking anyone with any information to get in touch

The BTP website said: "If you recognise these men or have any information please text 61016 or call 0800 40 50 40 quoting crime reference 678 of 8 December.
