A huge blaze has broken out overnight in Wolverhampton.

Twelve fire crews attended a commercial building just off Hickman Avenue.

Operations have now been scaled back with only six fire engines and one hydraulic platform remaining at the scene.

West Midlands Fire Service have confirmed the fire is under control, but operations are having to take place externally, as the building has collapsed.

Residents are being advised to keep windows and doors shut and avoid the area if possible.
