The Midlands Air Ambulance charity has thanked a Herefordshire event for their kind donation.

The charity say they've been given a boost in funding from local fundraisers and organisers of the Hereford Truck Show.

The show's annual show has been run for the last 20 years and each event raises money for the Air Ambulance charity as well as other good causes.

Following its recent event, the group of organisers behind the Hereford Truck Show, including Andy Powell, John Hybart, Andrew Colley, and Stephen Taylor surprised Midlands Air Ambulance Charity at its Hereford-based shop branch with a generous £15,000 donation.

Kate Bristow, Herefordshire fundraising executive for Midlands Air Ambulance Charity, said: “The support received by those in our local communities is vitally important and helps make future missions possible for our lifesaving emergency service.

“Hereford Truck Show’s continued support makes a vital difference to our service across Herefordshire and the recent donation of £15,000 will help make 11 missions possible for our fleet of air ambulance helicopters and critical care cars, for which we are truly grateful.”
