Hereford Police Station closes after member of public hands in suspected grenade

Hereford Police Station has closed after a member of the public has handed in what is believed to be a hand grenade.

The announcement was made this morning (Monday January 14) by West Mercia Police.

An Explosive ordinance Disposal Team has been alerted and are attending the scene.

The force say they believe there is now wider threat to the public or local community.
