Four arrested on suspicion of attempted murder in Coventry

It follows an incident in the Tile Hill area.

Three men and a teenage boy have been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder in Coventry.

It follows an incident on Park Hill Drive yesterday afternoon - where a teenager and his dog were deliberately driven at.

He suffered minor injuries, but the dog was seriously injured.

In the evening, there was a confrontation on Winceby Place, where a shotgun was produced, but no shots were fired.

As a result firearms officers were called to the scene and the arrests were made.

Several properties were searched and two firearms were recovered.

The men, aged 20, 49 and 66, and a 17-year-old boy were also detained on suspicion of possession of a firearm.
