The Pathology lab at the Princess Royal Hospital in Telford has had to close due to flooding.
Teams are working hard to assess the damage and restore services.
Contingency plans are in place to minimise any disruption, with the Royal Shrewsbury Hospital pathology laboratory supporting.
There will be a delay in results being available as we prioritise the most urgent clinical cases. Emergency Surgery is not impacted.
Patients are being advised to continue to attend appointments unless contacted by the hospital.
The hospital have apologised for any inconvenience caused.
