Flood warnings have been extended across Shropshire, Hereford and Worcester as further river rises are forecast.

It's predicted that properties, roads and farmlands are set to see more flooding too.

However, the River Wye and River Severn aren't expected to reach their peak until tomorrow evening and into New Year's Day.

Peaks though won't reach record levels.

The Environment Agency are advising people to "plan driving routes to avoid low lying roads near rivers" and to get ready with "any property flood protection products, such as flood barriers and air brick covers."

Staff at the Environment Agency are continuously monitoring rivers, with flood barriers still deployed.

Shrewsbury Parkrun, which hosts a 5k community run every Saturday in The Quarry, has cancelled the even this weekend.

Residents can call Floodline on 0345 988 1188 for any advice or help.
