Firefighters battle blaze after factory fire in Wolverhampton

Residents are being warned to keep windows closed and avoid the area if possible after a factory fire.

A total of over 50 firefighters are at the scene of the blaze off the Stafford Road, Wolverhampton.

The A449 between Broadlands and Greenfield Lane remain closed.

West Midlands Fire stated:

"Over 50 Firefighters remain at a Factory Fire off the Stafford Road, Wolverhampton, assertive actions are being taken to extinguish the Fire. The A449 between Broadlands and Greenfield Lane remain closed, please avoid the area."
