Fire crews put out blaze in eleven storey building
A fire involving ducting related to air conditioning broke out at a 11-storey building on Newhall Street, Birmingham.

Crews from Ladywood, Handsworth and Highgate fire stations, including a hydraulic aerial platform, have attended an incident on the corner of Edward Street and Newhall Street in Birmingham city centre this afternoon.
The incident involved fire in ducting of an 11-storey building, believed to be connected to an air conditioning system.
The property comprises a restaurant and offices.
Crews were using two hose reel jets to damp down affected areas and made good progress. The hydraulic platform has since left the scene.
All persons were evacuated from the building safely, with no known casualties.
The fire has been put out now with Edmund Street now fully re-open.
Fire crews have left the incident in the hand of the building owners.
