Family pay tribute to motorcyclist killed in Bristol Road collision

A motorcyclist who was killed in a collision on the Bristol Road last week has been named.

Ethan Colloff from Birmingham died when his motorcycle struck a tree on the Bristol Road near to Bournville Lane at around 2am on Wednesday 20 September.

The heartbroken family of the 26-year-old father of five have released a tribute to him. Ethan’s mother said: “My beautiful boy, how can this be happening? You are my whole world. You leave behind five children and 10 siblings who are hurting so bad.

“Life will never ever be the same. Love you more than life itself. Devastated doesn’t even come close. Son, you'll never be forgotten. Fly high sweetheart, we love you.”

Police do not believe any other vehicles were involved in the collision. However, they are still urging anyone with information that could help with the investigation to call 101 or e-mail sciu@westmidlands.police.uk quoting log number 232 of 20 September.

Police say their thoughts remain with Ethan’s family, friends and loved one at this sad time.
