Erdington by-election: Candidates announced
12 candidates will stand in the by-election on 3rd March

The 12 candidates running in the Erdington by-election have been announced.
Voters in the Birmingham constituency will go to the polls on 3rd March following the sudden passing of former MP, Jack Dromey, in January.
He had held his seat since 2010 and made was s a leading figure in the Transport and General Workers' Union.
The candidates hoping to take over from the 73 year old are as follows;
Robert Alden - Conservatives
David Bishop - Militant Bus-Pass Elvis Party
Jack Brookes - Reform UK
Lee Dargue - Liberal Democrats
Paulette Hamilton - The Labour Party
Siobhan Harper-Nunes - The Green Party
Clifton Holmes - Independent
Michael Lutwyche - Independent
Mel Mbondiah - Christian Peoples Alliance
D**ave Nellist - Trade Unionist and Socialist Coalition**
Thomas O'Rourke - Independent
The Good Knight Sir NosDa - The Official Monster Raving Loony Party
A poll for the above election will be held on Thursday, 3rd March 2022 between the hours of 7:00am and 10:00pm
