Elderly man hit by vehicle in Oswestry dies

It happened on Gobowen Road on 9 January.

An elderly man has died in hospital after suffering serious injuries in a collision in Oswestry.

The pedestrian - a man in his 80s - was hit by a van that was being reversed by a recovery vehicle on Gobowen Road on 9 January at around 1:15pm.

West Mercia Police are now appealing to witnesses or anyone with dashcam footage to get in touch.
