Adrian Peach, 35, from Birmingham, left the man seriously injured in Rover Drive, Smiths Wood, in July last year.

According to reports, Peach struck him initially - then reversed and drove at him again - leaving the man with severe head injuries which still impact upon him today.

Officers from West Midlands Police believe the incident stemmed from an earlier altercation.

Peach has admitted to causing grievous bodily harm - but was cleared by a jury of attempted murder.

He was jailed at Leamington Justice Centre last week.
