Dog seized after girl bitten in Coventry

The 3-year-old is being tweeted in hospital

Police in Coventry have seized a dog after a three-year-old girl was bitten.

It happened at a home on Humber Road on Friday (30 April).

Officers were alerted by ambulance colleagues after the child suffered injuries to her face at about 5.30pm.

Her injuries are not life-threatening and she is currently undergoing treatment in hospital.

The dog has been seized and is being assessed investigations continue.
