Coventry man arrested on suspicion of murder
A man from Coventry has been arrested on suspicion of murder after a woman was found dead at a property in Whetstone.
Leicestershire Police released a statement where they said they attended Loughland Close at about 8:40pm yesterday.
A 40-year-old was found unresponsive and pronounced dead at the scene.
A 27-year-old man was detained at a house and remained in custody for questioning.
Officers are appealing for witnesses or anyone with information to come forward.
