Two injured as Mini crashes into tree in Redditch

It happened on Saturday, but police now want anyone who saw the crash to come forward

Two people have been injured after a Mini Cooper veered off a major road and crashed into trees, West Mercia Police has said.

Officers said on Wednesday they are appealing for witnesses after the single-car crash on the Coventry Highway in Redditch, at the junction with the A4023 and A435.

It happened on Saturday (15 July) at around 3.40pm, with the car involved a blue Mini Cooper

A spokesperson said two people were injured in the crash and needed hospital treatment.

Officers would like to hear from anyone who was in the area at the time and saw the collision or may have dash-cam footage of it, or of the car driving in the minutes before the crash, they added.
