A man from Hereford has been jailed for supplying cocaine.

Callum Smith, 22, of Princess Avenue, Hereford, was sentenced to six years and eight months in prison at Worcester Crown Court yesterday (23rd February).

An investigation found that between September 2021 and January 2022, Smith was responsible for the distribution of wholesale amounts of cocaine.

Evidence gathered revealed his customer base was in excess of 100 people and included sub-dealers who dealt drugs on his command to their own networks.

On 19th January a warrant was executed at his home address and Smith was arrested.

He was found in possession of a significant quantity of cocaine and a mobile phone that contained thousands of messages detailing his drug deals.

He was charged with conspiracy to supply class A drugs, namely cocaine, and pleaded guilty.

Detective Sergeant Jamie Bullock said: "This sentence sends out a clear message to potential drug dealers that this will not be tolerated.

"If you engage in this activity, expect a knock at your door.

"Anyone with any concerns about potential drug crime is urged to get in touch. We act on all reports we receive."
