Over 40 firefighters tackle Cannock blaze

Over 40 firefighters have been tackling a large blaze outside a chemical storage unit in Cannock this morning (Monday).

It broke out on Walkmill Lane, with reports of an explosion just beforehand.

Staffordshire Fire and Rescue Service say four main jets and six breathing apparatus were used to bring the fire under control.

It's been deemed accidental.

By 8.20am, the incident was scaled down, leaving crews from Rugeley and Stafford at the scene
