Boy, 17, stabbed in the stomach near Rugby College

Police are appealing for information after a man was stabbed and injured in Rugby this afternoon (Wednesday 17 November).

At 1.12pm today, officers were contacted by the ambulance service who had been called to Technology Drive, near Rugby College where a 17-year-old boy had been found with stab wounds to the stomach.

He was taken to hospital for treatment. His injuries are serious but not considered life-threatening at this time.

A Warwickshire Police spokesperson said: "Anyone who witnesses the incident or who has any information that could assist the investigation is asked to contact Warwickshire Police on 101 quoting incident 183 of 17 November 2021.

"Information can be given anonymously to the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111."
