Boy left seriously injured following Bedworth collision

The boy remains in a serious condition in hospital.

Warwickshire Police is appealing for information after a nine-year-old boy was left with serious injuries following a collision in Bedworth yesterday (6 January).

The incident happened at around 3.50pm when a Peugeot 107 travelling along Chapel Street collided with the child near the junction with Rye Piece Ringway.

The boy was taken to hospital where he remains in a serious condition.

Sergeant Sam Bates from Warwickshire Police Roads Policing Unit said: “This collision left the boy with very serious injuries, and I appeal to anyone who witnessed the collision itself or has CCTV or dash cam footage which could help to get in touch.”
