Boy dies after falling through roof of derelict building in Coventry

Emergency services were called to Torrington Avenue yesterday

A 14-year-old boy has died after falling through the roof of a derelict building in Coventry.

It happened around 5pm on Torrington Avenue yesterday evening.

Emergency Services, including two ambulances, attended the scene.

The teenager was taken to hospital, but he died a short time later.

Police says his death is not being treated as suspicious and will be referred to the coroner.
