An investigation is underway after four masked men stole a puppy during an armed robbery in Coventry.

He was taken by the masked men after they threatened his owners during the robbery in Binley two weeks ago.

Coventry Police have issued an appeal asking if any members of the public have seen Mitch, a 12-week-old Bully breed puppy.

The police say Mitch's owners have been left devastated, and that the young puppy can be identified by a white patch on the back of his neck.

They are also encouraging people to get in touch with any more information by calling 101 and quoting crime number 20/1609733/21, or via live chat on West Midlands Police's website.
