Anne-Marie reveals embarrassing Instagram moment at the hands of Ed Sheeran
She told us about it at Hits Live Manchester!
Hits Radio fave Anne-Marie was absolutely amazing at Hits Live Manchester at the weekend! On Sunday 17th November, she took to the stage to perform at the Manchester Arena, singing all her biggest hits.
Just before her slot at the concert, Anne-Marie caught up with Jordan Lee backstage - and told us an utterly hilarious story about her songwriting buddy and friend Ed Sheeran, who she once supported on tour.
Proving she's just like us, Anne-Marie admitted that she loves nothing more than going for an Instagram stalk, revealing that she goes pretty deep into the timelines each time.
But it turns out that whilst she was on a stalking spree the other day, Anne-Marie was in the company of Ed, who just couldn't help but embarrass her, "Well I was actually with Ed the other day and he double-tapped on someone’s from 2017 from my account.
"I was like, 'Thanks!' I unliked it, but then I’m sure it comes through on people’s phones even if it’s un-liked. Isn’t it intense!"
But that's not all, as Anne-Marie revealed that she's currently in the process of making her second album - and is planning on a huge tour next year in 2020!
She told us, "It's coming. I am so excited about it, I think all the time as an artist you want to put music out, but I guess there's always a right time. So, this year's actually been quite an amazing year for me because I've really learned about myself and just been like, 'Yes, this is who I am now!'
"This is what the new album is," she added, "The new me I guess!" When Jordan asked what else she was planning for next year, Anne-Marie said, "Just the new music and then a big tour - thought I'd throw that in there!"
Anne-Marie's star has been rising over the past few years, especially after the Hits Live superstar released her debut album 'Speak Your Mind' last year. She toured the album throughout last year as well as this year, and recently appeared on 'Lonely' by Lauv which was releasd in August 2019.
