Two men charged after car stopped and drugs seized in Coventry

Two men - aged 25 and 29 - have been charged with drugs offences after a vehicle was stopped by officers and drugs seized in Coventry on Tuesday (12 October).

Liam Browne, 25, of Vernons Lane, Nuneaton has been charged with possession of a controlled drug of class B – cannabis/cannabis resin, being concerned in the supply of crack cocaine and being concerned in the supply of heroin

Colin Hamilton, 29, of Chingford Road, Coventry has been charged with possession with intent to supply a controlled drug – class A heroin and possession with intent to supply a controlled drug – class A crack cocaine.

They were remanded to appear at Coventry Magistrates’ Court today (Thursday).

A 47 year-old-man from Nuneaton, a 44-year-old woman from Nuneaton and a 31-year-old man from Nuneaton arrested by officers have been released under investigation pending further enquiries.
