Police look to find victim of potential sexual assault in Coventry

The alleged assault was reported by someone else last month

Police in Coventry are looking to speak to a woman who might have been sexually assaulted.

It's understood a man approached a woman on Cardiff Close, Willenhall last month.

The assault was reported by someone else, but officers so far haven't been able to identify the victim.

In a post on social media, Coventry Police said: "We want to speak to a woman who may have been sexually assaulted.

"It is understood a man approached a woman in Cardiff Close, #Coventry at 6.20pm on 22 Sep & sexually assaulted her.

"The assault was reported by someone else & we have been unable to identify the woman.

"You can contact us via Live Chat on our website using ref 20/1352958/21.

"If you don't feel comfortable reporting the incident to us directly or would prefer not to speak to an officer, you can contact Horizon SARC (Sexual Assault Referral Centre)."
